The Taurus 400 OTiS is Allocortech’s flagship high-voltage motor controller, purpose-built for advanced propulsion systems where size, weight, and power (SWaP) constraints leave no margin for compromise. Using Silicon Carbide (SiC) FETs, the same switching technology found in grid-scale converters, the Taurus 400 achieves the switching frequencies and efficiency figures that legacy silicon-based controllers cannot match.

Because every advanced vehicle platform has unique requirements, Taurus 400 solutions are configured for each end user. The controller’s compact, customizable form factor has been fitted into winglets, boom arms, and integrated motor housings, enabling integrators to reclaim the payload capacity that conventional box-mounted controllers waste.

The allocore SDK provides fully licensed source access, allowing engineering teams to tune FOC parameters, implement vehicle-specific state machines, and integrate custom telemetry without black-box firmware dependencies.
